To go from dream to reality, it is important to plan ahead.

Step 1: Choose the type of water feature you would like.

Step 2: Determine the size of your project.

While depending on the style of water feature, swimming ponds require a minimum space of 500 square feet (46 square metres). This includes space to freely move around the pond. A water garden requires a minimum of 100 square feet (10 square metres). Don’t have enough space? A pondless waterfall or pondless fountain can be installed in as little as 10 square feet (1 square metre).

Step 3: Select a location.

To take full advantage of your water feature, it should be placed near the main indoor and outdoor living areas so that it can be seen and heard. Water gardens and swimming ponds are a perfect choice for the privacy of your backyard. However, pondless waterfalls and pondless fountains can be installed at the front of your home to enhance your landscaping and welcome your guests in style.

Step 4: Establish your budget.

Step 5: Set a date.

You are ready to go ahead with your project and book our services? Now, you need to think about logistics:

– Is this a short, medium or long-term project?
– Are there any other ongoing or future construction or landscaping projects?
– Would you like to be present while the work is being carried out?
– When is Jardins Aquadesign available?

Step 6: Make an appointment with us.

During the project estimation meeting with you, we will take the time necessary to complete the planning of your project, set a schedule and answer all your questions. Allow approximately one hour for this meeting. You will be presented with a written estimate after this meeting. The cost* of this meeting ranges from $300 to $500 and is deductible upon signature of the contract (fee based on travel).

*Why is there a fee for the project estimation meeting?

We’re sure that you have heard the expression “nothing in life is free”. It also applies to the work of estimating a project. We are professionals; our ideas and suggestions for your property are the results of our experience and knowledge that we have gained from more than 30 years in the field. In addition, if Jardins Aquadesign offered free project estimation meetings to everyone, travel costs would have to be passed on to our customers which would be unfair to them.
