Jean Brûlé, aquadesigner

Jardins Aquadesign’s Founding President Jean Brûlé is passionate about landscaping, horticulture and limnology*. He graduated from the Montreal Botanical Garden’s School of Horticulture in 1987 and some years later, the University of Quebec at Montreal in Aquatic Ecology.

*Scientific study of freshwaters, specifically those found in lakes and ponds. The discipline also includes the biological, physical, and chemical aspects of the occurrence of lake and pond waters.

Jean shares his passion as a lecturer with various Quebec horticultural and ecological societies. He was also a teacher at the college and professional levels.

In order to better serve his clientele with whom he has built a long term relationship, he continued to develop his expertise through intensive training courses in the United States. He also participated in internships in Europe.

In 2008 Jean participated in the construction of the largest water garden in the world at Aqualand, the Aquascape head office in St-Charles, Illinois.
